This year, we are thrilled to host several top U.S. universities from around the country to share more about their institutions including programs of study, scholarship opportunities, career outcomes, and everything in between.
Attending an EducationUSA fair is an exciting step in your U.S. higher education journey. U.S. universities offer a world-class learning experience replete with innovative technology and cutting-edge research. Meeting directly with university representatives offers a chance to learn how you can obtain an education from a global leader in academics and industry, plus ask any questions you have about the application process, admissions, and more.

About the Fair
Are you dreaming of studying in the United States? Visit the EducationUSA 2026 University Fair!
Meet directly with representatives from U.S. colleges and universities, Fulbright Sri Lanka staff, and the EducationUSA adviser to learn more about the programs and opportunities available to Sri Lankan students in the United States.
This year, the fair will travel to Colombo, Kurunegala, and Kandy.
This fair is open to anyone interested in learning more about U.S. higher education, including prospective students & families, school counselors, and educators.

Do I need to register for the fair in advance?
Yes, registration is required. You can sign up before the fair or at the fair by visiting bit.ly/LKFAIR2026
Why should I attend the fair?
If you are interested in exploring study opportunities in the United States, an EducationUSA U.S. University Fair is the perfect place to start. Representatives from accredited U.S. institutions are ready to meet with you and share exactly what makes the U.S. a global leader in higher education.}
What should I bring with me?
You do not need to bring anything specific to the fair. Pens and notebooks will be provided. Most importantly, bring some questions for the universities!
What should I wear?
There is no dress code for the fair, but keep in mind you will be interacting with representatives from U.S. universities. First impressions are key!
We recommend comfortable footwear and breathable fabrics—there will be crowds!
When is the fair?
The fair will take place on September 14, 1:00-4:00 p.m. (Colombo), September 16, 2:00-3:00 p.m. (Kurunegala), and September 17, 1:00-4:00 p.m. (Kandy).
Do I have to come at a specific time?
You may visit the fair at any point between the start and end time.
Where is the fair?
This year, the fair is stopping in Colombo (Courtyard by Marriott Colombo City Centre, 9th Floor Grand Sapphire Ballroom), Kurunegala (Royal International School), and Kandy (Kandy City Centre, 5th Floor Banquet Hall).
Can I bring my parents?
Yes! Parents, guardians, siblings, and families are welcome. Please register each guest in advance at bit.ly/LKFAIR2026
