Before you embark on your academic adventure in the United States, join us for the 2026 EducationUSA Sri Lanka Pre-Departure Orientation.

Through roundtable discussions, interactive sessions, and a networking reception, this program will walk you through what to expect during your studies in the U.S., offer insights from alumni, and connect you with your peers who are headed the same way.

This session is free of charge and open to all undergraduate & graduate students admitted to a U.S. university for the 2026-2027 academic year. A student visa is not required to attend the orientation, but prior registration is mandatory. More details will be sent upon registration.

American universities are consistent global leaders in technological advancement and scientific research. Join EducationUSA Sri Lanka for a webinar hosted by Caity Gampp (International Admissions & Recruiting Manager at North Carolina State University) to learn more about the rich history of innovation at U.S. universities. This webinar will cover topics from groundbreaking research to history-making alumni—including NC State alum, NASA Astronaut Christina Koch, who recently completed a historic journey as part of the Artemis Crew!

Acing the SAT: Tips and Tricks from a Tutor

Sebastian Durfee is an experienced test preparation tutor specializing in college admissions examinations. He is a full-time SAT and ACT instructor who earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Creative Writing and Film & Media Studies from Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland, USA.

Now collaborating with EducationUSA Sri Lanka, Sebastian leverages his academic background and teaching expertise to help international students successfully navigate the U.S. university admissions process and reach their target scores. In this session with EducationUSA Sri Lanka at the United States-Sri Lanka Fulbright Commission, Sebastian will guide you through the complete format of the SAT. He will share proven strategies for success, lead an interactive workshop, and host an open dialogue session to answer your specific study questions.
